The C Mart had occupied a place in Friar Street, Reading town centre, for 13 years, selling oriental food, drinks and cooking ingredients to shoppers.
But the store was forced to close after a major fire that broke out in May 2023.
C Mart relocated more than a year after the fire to the former Eye Site opticians at 142 Friar Street.

At the time, business owner Brian Xhao was clear that this relocation was a temporary arrangement to recover the business while searching for longer-term premises.
He said: “I know it is a bit of a headache for me, but I can’t just wait without doing anything.
“At least I can make something, rather than just staying at home and doing nothing, because that’s wasting time.”
C Mart has recently moved into an outdoor unit of the Broad Street Mall facing St Marys Butts.

Mr Xhao had applied to Reading Borough Council to sell alcohol from the store between 9am and 11pm each day.
The licence was subsequently granted after no objections were made following a statutory consultation that concluded on Monday, April 28.
C Mart has taken over the unit that has recently been vacated by the Delikatesy Smaczek, which itself moved into a Broad Street Mall unit facing Oxford Road in December 2024.
That shop was previously occupied by the Brother2Brother streetwear fashion store, which closed last year.
